So, Monday was my one year anniversary of moving to London from my totally-not-happening home.

In that time I’ve been promoted at work a bunch of times, see some of my best friends every day after a few years of not, and seen some good bands.

In the past year I’ve seen:

which is a better return than the year before when the gigs I went to were

I’ve met some people from the famed hipster garabe (RIP) group who are excellent, and generally I’ve been the happiest I’ve ever been in my life and I might even get drawing a load of old shit again this year.

Oh, I also sort of met the President of Malta, watched Alarm Bells w/ one of Dananananaykroyd’s singers, hugged Grimes, got banned from a pub for balls out, discovered Chipotle, saw celebs like Bill Oddy and Russell Toby in the street, Alexis Taylor in a pub (watching James Hindle DJ), English footballing philosopher Joey Barton on the tube & Julian Barratt in a park, was allegedly on TV with my face blurred out whilst at work, probably became the first person to wear a Jay Reatard t-shirt to an English football match and other exciting things.
